The continuation of the Blue Legend
Blue Demon Jr. was born in Mexico City and grew up in Monterrey Nuevo León. And during his childhood, his father confesses the secret of his profession, this is where he begins to become aware of it.
He entered the Mexican Military Academy where he attended high school and high school, here he obtained the discipline and military education that would help mark his character and determination.
He was in the selective national freestyle and sambo where he qualified first in his category demonstrating his skills as an amateur fighter.
His father Blue Demon demands that he study for a university degree before debuting as a professional wrestler and it is then that he begins his preparation at the Universidad del Valle de México where he is studying a degree in Computer and Administrative Systems; In this way, Blue Demon Jr. manages to combine his preparation both in the gym and in the studios.
The Debut
On July 11, 1984 Blue Demon Jr. debuted alongside his father and Villano III, in a superstar fight in Tijuana Baja California having as opponents Perro Aguayo, Fish Man and Kato Kung Lee. Unfortunately Blue Demon Jr. lost the match in his debut which allowed him to realize the reality and that it was more difficult than he imagined, but he never gave up and decided to try again.
As an Olympic wrestler and who was a member of the national team in Cuba and in the Pan American Games in Chile, in both matches, he managed to win the silver medal. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury cost him not to compete in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
After his debut he prepared himself even more. In Mexico City he appears at the Palacio de los Deportes with his father and El Hijo del Santo who had Negro Casas, Kato Kung Lee and Fuerza Guerrera as opponents, that fight was memorable, because the little Blue Demon made the name great from his father to such a degree that he was named rookie of the year (1986).
A worthy heir
Blue Demon Jr. began a tour within the Republic where he was well received, but the comparisons between the continuation of the legend and his father were immediate, especially in the fighting style that characterized Mr. Demon, it was then that both made the decision to call their father’s godfather, none other than Mr. José Mendieta, who would manage to polish and resemble the style of the junior with that of his father. The training was very hard but finally paid off, the result was that the technical movements gave the necessary resemblance to that of Blue Demon Father and with this the comparisons ended.
Blue Demon Jr., prepared his father’s retirement fight, which would be unforgettable. The Mexico arena was the venue and the seats were packed. In addition, there was the presence of great gladiators such as Pirata Morgan, Emilio Charles, Ringo Mendoza, among others; That same day, Blue Demon Jr. symbolically received the courier of the heir and continuator of the legend from the hands of Grand Master Blue Demon.
His fighting history
Blue Demon Jr. He is one of the Mexican gladiators who has stood out the most in the international pancracy, especially in Japan, where he has established himself as the best technician. Although the Japanese gladiators are of excellent quality, Blue Demon Jr. has shown that he is prepared to face any of them, no matter how good they are, making it clear that Mexican wrestling is the best on the planet.
